I appeal to all leaders, come back to the table, to dialogue. Let's look for solutions to problems, let's look for ways to reduce the amount of violence that we're promoting, that peace - especially at Easter - might reign in our hearts."

Leo XIV. fordert Trump auf, noch heute Abend einen Weg zu finden, den Krieg im Iran zu beenden. „Mir wurde berichtet, dass Präsident Trump kürzlich erklärt hat, er wolle den Krieg beenden. Hoffen wir, dass er nach einem Ausweg sucht, hoffen wir, dass er nach einem Weg sucht, die Gewalt und die Bombardierungen einzudämmen – was einen wesentlichen Beitrag dazu leisten würde, den Hass zu beseitigen, der sich im Nahen Osten und anderswo aufstaut und stetig wächst.“
Heiliger Vater, der Hass kommt nicht von Trump, und darum kann Trump ihn auch nicht beenden. Der Hass steht im Koran, zum Beispiel Sure 5, Vers 33. Die Szene berührt merkwürdig. Der Interviewte ist doch Papst, kein Wahlkämpfer irgendeiner Partei.
