"FSSPX Are Schismatic Priests": Cardinal Gerhard Müller told EWTN that Catholics “cannot go” to Masses offered by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (SSPX): “They shouldn't go and cannot go, participate in the masses of the schismatic priests.” He added that Catholics must accept not only dogmas such as the Trinity and the Incarnation, but also that “the Church is the visible presence of the Body of Jesus Christ.” Regarding the FSSPX's planned episcopal consecrations, he said: “Consecrations without the Pope are absolutely impossible against the will of God, and who is working against God will be excommunicated.” The Vatican has so far never used the word "schism" or "schismatic" in context with the FSSPX.
Cardinal Müller's remarks to EWTN (June 26) were strikingly uncompromising: "Catholics cannot go to these schismatic priests."
Has there ever been a time like this? The FSSPX is not doing something new, as throughout history of the Church there has been consecrations without papal aproval and nothing happened, because the salvation of souls is #1 and above everything else, BUT we are living in such dangerous times that we no longer distinguish good from bad and light with dark, this is why the FSSPX is doing what's best for their sheep and I (even though im not one of them), stands with them.

26 neoconservative theology professors from Franciscan University of Steubenville - including Scott Hahn, John Bergsma, Michael Waldstein, Mark Miravalle, and university president Fr. Dave Pivonka - has published an open letter urging the FSSPX not to proceed with episcopal consecrations without a pontifical mandate. They represent a substantial portion of Steubenville's influential Theology Department (about 30 faculty members). Their argument is that no crisis in the Church justifies an act that would further damage the Church's visible unity with the Pope.

Cardinal Gerhard Müller spoke at the June 26 consistory about the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX), IlGiornale.it reports. He addressed the FSSPX's allegations that the Vatican has deviated from the Church's magisterium. Cardinal Müller proposed preparing a response to the Fraternity that would affirm that Rome has never abandoned the path of Catholicism, contrary to their claims. He also said that, following Wednesday's episcopal consecrations, many Lefebvrists would seek to enter into full canonical communion with the Church. The Vatican should prepare to welcome them back by proposing a structure modelled on the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, which was established by Pope John Paul II in 1988. On June 25, skinny Paulist Father Chris Lawton celebrated an annual homosex Eucharist at the Stonewall National Monument in Christopher Park, New York City. Around 150 people attended, reports NcrOnline.org. The Eucharist was organized by the notorious homosexual parish St. Paul the Apostle in Manhattan. It took place at the start of 'New York Pride weekend'. The location was disfigured with dozens of rainbow flags. Fr Lawton apologized to homosexuals for times when the Church had failed to recognize God's presence in them. The Apostolic faith speaks to the eternal essence of God and the unchanging struggle of humans which is resolved by the timeless sacrifice on Calvary. Tucho claims that what he doesn't like in the Apostolic faith are cultural accretions. He is wrong. Lace, the mitre, and even his red zucchetto are cultural accretions. The seven deadly sins and sins which cry out to Heaven for vengeance are as fundamental to salvation as DNA is to life. This may be painful for Tucho. My heart goes out to him. But salvation comes from taking up your cross and requires sacrifice of your own preferences for the sake of Christ.
