The Provincial Judicial Court of Zambézia has ordered the continued pretrial detention of three individuals identified by investigators as potential suspects in the killing of Bishop Osório Citora Afonso of Quelimane, Mozambique. The suspects are a Catholic priest, a security guard, and a gardener employed at the bishop’s residence. They appeared before an investigating judge for several hours of questioning.
