Did Leo XIV Appoint a Freemason to the Vatican?

On August 13, Leo XIV appointed Umberto Longo, Director of the Italian Historical Institute for the Middle Ages in Rome and Professor of Medieval History at the secular Sapienza University of Rome, as a member of the Pontifical Committee for Historical Sciences.
The online footprint of Umberto Longo repeatedly places that name - and, in later cases, an identifiable Professor Longo - within the institutional environment of Italian Freemasonry and the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. The examples span a decade.
2013 - Scottish Rite, Lazio: The Masonic publication LOGOS identifies a certain “Fr. Oratore Umberto Longo 4°” as an officer of the Loggia di Perfezione Maestri Segreti “Giano” in Rome.
The publication introduces a series of texts under the heading: “Le Tavole del Fr. Oratore Umberto Longo 4°.” The abbreviation Fr. is used throughout for Fratello - “Brother” - while the number identifies the Scottish Rite degree. More importantly, the issue contains the official 2013 officers …Máis

Write, My daughter, for My faithful Priests –
Write for My sons who have kept My Word – My Jesus – as the center of their

in His Abba.
You have clothed yourselves with My Jesus and as such I see you.
My sons. My beloved sons.
You suffer with My children, you suffer with Me, at seeing the effects of our

My faithful sons, keeping watch – tireless watch over My little ones. How tired

Archdiocese Denies Rumours That Cardinal Eijk Plans Resignation

The Archdiocese of Utrecht has rejected as false rumours that Cardinal Willem Eijk, 73, could have asked Pope Leo XIV during an audience on Monday to accept his early resignation as Archbishop.
“These reports are false. He has not offered his resignation,” the archdiocese told the Dutch newspaper Katholiek Nieuwsblad on Wednesday. An archdiocesan spokesman added that there was no basis for such speculation.
The audience attracted attention because Eijk has experienced health problems in recent months and didn't attend the consistories in January and June.
The archdiocese also provided an update on the cardinal’s health. “It is known that Cardinal Eijk struggled with health problems last winter,” the spokesman said. His recovery had taken longer than initially hoped, but was now progressing well.
According to the archdiocese, Eijk is expected to resume his duties fully on September 1.

🌈 Cardinal Welcomes Japan’s Homosexual Privileges

Worse than Germany: Cardinal Tarcisio Kikuchi of Tokyo has welcomed the Japanese government's plan to promote "understanding of sexual orientation and gender identity", which was approved on 16 June. The plan involves education and "awareness initiatives" in government, schools, and workplaces, as well as measures to combat "discrimination" against homosexuals.
In an interview with UcaNews.com on June 17, Cardinal Kikuchi described the government’s decision as “meaningful”, stating that it had clearly articulated a policy intended to foster a "deeper understanding of sexual minorities".
And: "An inclusive community that welcomes everyone is not just an attitude; it is the first step towards building the world that God calls us to create."
The cardinal's latest remarks are consistent with his longstanding homosex activism. Tokyo Archdiocese has organised monthly homosexual Eucharists. In 2023, he contributed to the book LGBT and Christianity, promoted by the 'Catholic HIV/AIDS Desk'. …Máis

Trump is being sued over his Truth Social paywall
The lawsuit, filed Wednesday in federal court in Manhattan, alleges the paid early-access service violates the First and Fifth Amendments
MeidasTouch host Ben Meiselas reports on Donald Trump and Natalie Harp getting sued together in a major federal lawsuit..
The complaint names Trump in his official capacity, along with White House Executive Assistant Natalie Harp, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Daniel Scavino, the Executive Office of the President, and the White House Office as defendants. The plaintiffs argue that the arrangement — in which paying subscribers receive the president's official announcements before the general public — violates the First Amendment's guarantee of equal access to a president's public statements and the Fifth Amendment's prohibition on unreasonable conditions for government benefits.
"This scheme is profoundly corrupt," the complaint says. "The President stands to gain financially by giving 'market-moving …Máis

“Globalism has already failed to meet the needs of the people. It serves only the financial elite,” Marian Eleganti, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Chur, told LaNuovaBq on August 13. On Muslim immigration, he said: “Personally, I am convinced that Islam cannot be integrated into our political systems shaped by Christianity. There is no apolitical Islam, consisting purely of an interior religious life. It is a system of domination. The more convinced its followers are of this, the less integrable it is. The result is parallel societies.” He also criticized the Church’s approach to unlimited immigration: “The Catholic Church should not adopt an idealistic approach… [that] ignores the very real social problems associated with unlimited immigration.”

Bishop Eleganti: Islam poses ‘very serious’ danger to the West

“Globalism has already failed” and the crisis of predominantly Muslim migration is leading to a point of “no return”, Bishop Marian Eleganti has declared. The former auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Chur is one of a handful of prelates who publicly denounces Islam and the concept of modern migration into the West, and has regularly linked the demographic crisis in the West to the crisis of immigration simultaneously affecting Europe. Interviewed recently by La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana, Eleganti warned that the Catholic Church “should not take an idealistic approach on this issue”, outlining that this meant the Church should avoid preaching “a moralism detached from reality, which ignores the concretely existing social problems linked to unlimited immigration and which can only be solved with political common sense.”

Leo XIV Tells Aging Religious Sisters to Become “Experts in Synodality”

Today, Leo XIV sent a prerecorded video message to the 70th-anniversary assembly of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) in Orlando.
LCWR is the largest association of leaders of Catholic women religious in the United States. Its members are generally the superiors of congregations of sisters.
The video was shown to an overwhelmingly elderly gathering, with scarcely a religious habit or young face in sight.
Religious to Become “Experts in Synodality”
Leo XIV said that all Christians are called to be “formed in a synodal Church”. He continued: “In a special way, those in religious life are called to become experts in synodality due to the opportunities afforded by community life to practice it.”
Then, he praised the assembly's planned “synodal method of listening, discussion and discernment,” expressing the hope that through such “fraternal and receptive dialogue” the sisters would be able to “discern what the Holy Spirit is saying” about “the present and future of consecrated …Máis

The recent closure of the Israeli consulate in Chengdu is described in the mainstream media as simply a consequence of China’s positions on the Palestinian issue—particularly the ongoing genocide in Gaza—as well as on the Israeli-American aggression against Iran. The Israeli consul issued an enthusiastic statement about friendship with China, as if the closure were merely temporary for renovations. What the article is careful not to mention is the recent espionage case involving an Israeli company in Chengdu, which was thwarted at the last minute by Chinese authorities just as it was about to succeed.
Reported in Chinese media and on social media, this case was, of course, completely ignored by Western media. In broad terms, in 2023, the Israeli embassy in China acted as an intermediary between a Tel Aviv-based data company and a technology firm in Chengdu, under the pretext of jointly building a “data processing center” intended to optimize …Máis

Priest Remains at Altar as Earthquake Shakes Bogotá Chapel: A priest remained at the altar as an earthquake struck during the Consecration at a Mass in the Roman rite at the Chapel of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Bogotá on August 10. The altar server and congregation also remained in place as the church and hanging lamps shook. The Mass continued throughout the tremor.

This is how the priest and faithful attending the Traditional Latin Mass reacted when an earthquake struck in the midst of the Consecration. The footage was recorded at the Chapel of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Bogotá.

I remember seeing a army chaplin in WW2 reading mass while a huge artillary bombardment was going on all around him. They said once the consecration has started it can't be stopped until complete. It looks like this priest was in the middle of the consecration.

By Paul Goldberger
Mr. Goldberger is a former architecture critic for The Times and The New Yorker and the author of “Why Architecture Matters.”
The proposed “Arc de Trump” in Washington is less a monument than a gaudy construction the height of a skyscraper — a travesty that, if built, would dramatically change the landscape of the nation’s capital. This is probably why President Trump is so eager to get it made as fast as he can. It would be an unavoidable monument to a presidency and a man whom many Americans would rather not honor so conspicuously, if at all. He understands that once it is there, it will be hard for anyone to make it go away.
Change is supposed to happen slowly and carefully in Washington, and there are systems in place to make that so. When the National Park Service said last week that the arch would not only block the vista between the …Máis

Rhode Island Bishop Leads Four Homosexual Eucharists

The Diocese of Providence in Rhode Island is holding a series of “Listening Sessions” for homosexuals and their friends at four parishes. According to the diocesan website, Bishop Bruce Lewandowski, 59, is presiding at each gathering, which includes the celebration of the Eucharist, small-group sharing, and a community dinner.
The diocesan announcement opens with Pope Francis' notorious words, “Todos, Todos, Todos” (“Everyone, Everyone, Everyone”).
LepantoIn.org asked the diocese whether confession would be available and whether participants would be invited to repentance and conversion in accordance with Catholic teaching.
Instead of answering those questions, the diocesan communications director replied only: “As the diocesan bishop, Bishop Lewandowski has the pastoral responsibility to know and understand the spiritual needs of all the souls entrusted to his care.”

Tom Morelli

For years, a local farmer spent every single night praying the exact same prayer:
"Lord, I’m miserable. I’m convinced there isn't a single person on this earth who has it worse than me. I wake up every day wondering what I did to deserve such a raw deal. I just have one simple request: please let me trade my problems with somebody else. I'd gladly swap my baggage with the first guy I see on the street, because there's absolutely no way his life is as messed up as mine. I’m not asking for winning lottery numbers or a perfect life. Just a simple trade. I'm counting on Your mercy here."
One day, his prayers were finally answered. A booming voice echoed from the heavens:
"Gather up all your troubles, pack them into a duffel bag, and bring them down to the town church."
The catch? Everyone in town heard the exact same voice. So, everybody started packing up their own miseries, heartbreaks, and daily struggles into bags. The farmer was absolutely thrilled. Finally, he was going to ditch his …Máis

Biblical Cosmology: The Earth Is a Stationary Plane Beneath the Celestial Vault - The Bible makes no mention of outer space or the trillions upon trillions of other planets that modern astronomers claim exist. Nor does it mention a Big Bang beginning or the force of gravity that keeps people and oceans attached to all sides of a rotating sphere. The cosmology described in the Bible is clearly geocentric, fixed, and motionless, with a flat Earth. Source: youtube.com/watch?v=mkDfxFR5gwg

Pick your favorite travel website, like Travelocity. Create two flight plans circumnavigating the earth. One above the equator and the other below the equator. If the earth was flat, the flight below the equator should be about 3 times longer "near the ice wall" than "near the flat earth center". You will find that they are nearly the same.

Life in the Making
It all begins in silence: one cell meets another, and in an instant, a new, unique, and unrepeatable life emerges. The imagery unfolds ceaselessly—division, form, heartbeat—until there is no longer any doubt about what we are seeing: not a mass of tissue, but a tiny body, joined to its mother by a cord that serves as both bridge and lifeline. Hands reaching out, legs curled up, a face settling into sleep just as any human being does.
And therein lies the wrenching realization: that very being—already capable of movement, sensation, and resembling us—is the one whose life is chosen to be ended in a late-term abortion. It is not an abstract cell that is being stopped; it is a story that already possessed form, expression, and a heartbeat of its own. That is why those who defend life from conception describe such a decision—particularly in the later stages—as an act of special cruelty: because the biological development itself, revealed without filters, leaves little room …Máis
